Our hand-tied extensions are specially ordered from Platform Hair-- we offer both Hand-Tied and Hand-Sewn wefts. This allows us to choose from a wide array of colors, textures, and lengths to best suit your hair needs. From there, we proceed to add custom coloring prior to your installation to ensure a seamless, beautiful blend. Whether you are new to extensions or have had years of experience, we take great care to help you learn how to upkeep, style, and look your most stunning with them!

How often should I have my extensions moved up?
Extensions should ideally be moved up every 6 to 8 weeks. Regular maintenance keeps the hair wefts in better shape and makes the extensions more comfortable to wear.
Will hair extensions affect the integrity of my hair? What about my scalp?
Hair extensions can actually help make your hair healthier and give it a chance to grow! The extensions almost work as a barrier and help keep your natural hair protected from heat. As for your scalp, the method we employ and tension we apply allows for even distribution of hair wefts, so that no one area is being pulled too much to cause any damage or discomfort.
How long do the extensions themselves last?
With proper maintenance, your extensions can last anywhere from 6 to 8 months. For longest use, we recommend keeping up with regular maintenance appointments, using the proper hair products, minimizing excessive use of heat, and just general proper care.
Will the extensions look natural?

Consultation. During your consultation, we can determine your hair goals and expectations. We will also work with you to decide the amount of wefts/length needed to achieve your desired look and manageability. During the consultation we will also be able to give you a price quote.
Installation. Following your complimentary consultation, we will install your extensions and determine the number of wefts needed to create the style of your dreams.

Custom coloring. During your appointment, we will color your extensions and, if needed, your hair to create a seamless blend.
Cut. Once the hair wefts are placed, your stylist will cut the extensions to ensure they move and breathe with your natural hair.

How much hair would I need?
How much hair you would need depends on the look you're going for. Do you want more length, more fullness, or both? We usually recommend an average of twelve wefts for both fullness and length.
Which stylists do extensions?
Style. Finally, we add the finishing touches, leaving a seamless blend. We will also show you the best ways to style your new locks at home.

How much will my extensions cost?
Prices vary by stylist and service, but we generally say that you can expect to spend between $1000 and $3000 for your initial installation, depending on the desired look. An exact price point can be determined during your consultation-- new clients will pay a $50 deposit for the consultation which will then be deducted from their installation price. Move-ups range between $165 and $275 depending on the number of rows.
Move-ups. Every 6-8 weeks following an extension installation, we recommend you come in to the salon to have your rows moved up. This helps both your extensions and your natural hair to stay healthy, beautiful, and long-lasting!
